VETERINARIANS
ANN MCEWAN, BSC
DVM
Dr. McEwan, a Graduate of Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph, with over 20 years of experience, has worked in all areas of veterinary medicine but for the past 14 years has focused on small animals. “Dr. Ann” also has a growing interest in veterinary homeopathy and has attended several conferences in this intriguing area.
In her spare time, Dr. McEwan enjoys golfing and spending time with her English Mastiffs.
BRUCE WRIGHT, BSC
Dr. Wright, a graduate of Royal Veterinary College, University of London, England, has 22 years of experience in caring for small animals. He has a special interest in cardiology, neurology, soft tissue surgery and dentistry.
JANICE GLOFCHESKI, BSC
Dr Janice Glofcheski graduated from OVC in 1997 and since then has been focusing on providing compassionate care to her cat and dog patients. She enjoys the diversity of cases being in general practice provides but especially has an interest in internal medicine, dermatology, general surgery and dentistry. She joined Carleton Place Veterinary Hospital in 2021 and when not working there, she can be found travelling to sunny locations.
STEPHANIE COTE
DVM
Dr. Stephanie Cote has been a veterinarian in and around Carleton Place since 2002. In addition to her love of medicine and surgery, she has pursued specialized training in nutrition, acupuncture, herbal medicine, postural rehabilitation and craniosacral therapy. She enjoys getting to know each patient and their people to offer support for their specific circumstances.
When not at work, Stephanie is living the dream on her hobby farm with her family. Yes, all those stickers on her truck are silhouettes of her real life furry family!
Devin
Dr. Devin was raised on a small family farm in Durham Region. After graduating from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1990, he worked in mixed animal practice in Southwestern Ontario for ten years before moving to Eastern Ontario. He has practiced in Eastern Ontario since, spending all of his professional time in the field of companion animal medicine and surgery.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Devin is an ordained Anglican minister and is actively involved in the life and ministry of his church. He is married and has four grown children.
In his spare time, he enjoys watching soccer, reading, fitness, travelling and spending time with his wife Sarah and their Border Terrier, Giggs.
